Résumé du poste

Location: Dryden, on-site Language: Strong written and spoken English communication skills Background Check Requirement: Successful criminal background check, credit check, and validation of work experience required About the Opportunity If you’re a natural communicator who builds trust quickly, brings empathy to difficult conversations, and is motivated to achieve goals, this could be a great opportunity to build your career in financial services. Previous lending experience is an asset, but it isn’t what matters most. This consumer financial services organization is looking for people with the personality, drive, and communication skills to connect with customers and make a positive impact. You’ll work closely with customers by phone and in person, helping them navigate financial needs and identify appropriate solutions. You’ll join a supportive branch team where coaching is part of the culture and motivated employees can build their skills and grow into more senior opportunities over time. What’s In It for You Bring your customer service or sales experience and learn the lending side of the business through hands-on coaching and support. This is an opportunity to enter financial services without needing a traditional banking background, while developing valuable sales, lending, and relationship-building skills in a workplace that recognizes initiative, resilience, and growth. Your Responsibilities • You’ll build trust with customers, asking thoughtful questions to understand their financial needs and circumstances. • You’ll connect with customers in person and through high-volume outbound calling, including following up on applications and previous inquiries. • You’ll guide loan applications from initial conversation through to closing and recommend suitable lending and optional protection solutions. • You’ll identify additional customer needs and contribute toward individual and branch sales goals. • You’ll approach sensitive conversations, including missed payments and financial hardship, with empathy, confidence, and professionalism. • You’ll stay organized and accountable for follow-ups while consistently following lending policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Skills and Qualifications • 1+ year of sales or customer-facing experience is an asset, particularly in retail, hospitality, telecom, automotive, insurance, fitness, contact centres, or other fast-paced environments. Previous lending experience is not required. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence connecting with people over the phone and in person. • Genuine empathy and patience, especially when supporting customers through stressful or sensitive financial situations. • Drive and motivation to achieve goals, paired with resilience when results do not come immediately. • A natural ability to ask meaningful questions, listen closely, and identify solutions that meet customer needs. • Coachability and a willingness to learn, apply feedback, and continually improve. • Strong judgment, accountability, integrity, and the ability to balance customer needs with policies and business requirements. Note from the Hiring Manager “We can teach you the lending side of the role. What’s most important to us is who you are with customers.
