Job Description Midland Transport is looking for a motivated individual to work as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative (6 months contract) based in Head Office Location, Dieppe, NB. We are looking for someone who has the drive to go above and beyond the call of duty in providing Superior Quality Service for our customers. The new addition to our team will be responsible for providing one call resolution in responding to inquiries from our toll-free customer service line as well as our website. The position is Monday to Friday day shift. Responsibilities Respond to inbound call inquiries in a professional and timely manner, with a focus on customer satisfaction Ensure first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling Enter pickups and deliveries on timely and precise manner Coordinate special movement of freight, trace shipments and research adjustments Deliver excellent customer service in accordance with the company's values and policies Support other team members by contributing to the team effort Qualifications Education Required: Minimum High School diploma Years of Experience Required: <2 years Bilingualism is mandatory (French and English) Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills Strong problem-solving skills The ability to work effectively and efficiently with both internal and external customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office suit Knowledge of telephone systems and AS400 system as an asset Post-secondary education and call center experience in a fast paced environment, along with knowledge of the transportation industry are definite assets About Us Founded in 1882, J.D.
