Here’s what we do… CMI sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again! Here’s where you come in… As CMI continues to grow, we are seeking a passionate, organized, and enthusiastic Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day administrative operations of the sales function, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently. You must be comfortable working across different departments, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and ensure the accuracy of records and documents Receive and respond to customer inquiries Provide reception coverage during lunch hours, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and supporting front-desk operations Process and analyze data to ensure accuracy of information Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other organizational tools Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and correspondence Maintain office supplies and equipment Perform other related duties as assigned What will make you a valued member of our team? High school diploma or post-secondary education in business, administration, or a related field A minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience is considered an asset Strong customer service orientation, with tact and sound judgment when dealing with demanding or challenging situations Demonstrated ability and eagerness to learn, with a desire for ongoing growth and development Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to meet tight deadlines during both regular and peak periods, including handling last-minute requests Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong task prioritization skills Able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including basic arithmetic skills A Few Super Cool Things About Us We grow people, not just the business.
